Urner Barry by Expana regularly solicits feedback from stakeholders to ensure that our coverage reflects current trading
conditions and practices. To improve market transparency and to provide stakeholders with meaningful information,
Urner Barry by Expana is requesting feedback on the following proposed changes to its Shrimp reporting methodology.
Urner Barry by Expana is proposing the following additions:
• 1-2 Farm Raised, IQF Freshwater, Asian, Head-On
• 2-4 Farm Raised, IQF Freshwater, Asian, Head-On
• 4-6 Farm Raised, IQF Freshwater, Asian, Head-On
• 6-8 Farm Raised, IQF Freshwater, Asian, Head-On
• 8-12 Farm Raised, IQF Freshwater, Asian, Head-On
Urner Barry by Expana’s reporting office is committed to maintaining the rigorous standards mandated by Urner Barry by
Expana’s Reporting Methodology, as well as refining and growing the initiative to better align with stakeholders’ needs.
Following the review period, the Urner Barry by Expana Shrimp Methodology document will be updated to include
the changes.
Stakeholders can comment on the proposed changes during a comment period which will take place from
December 11, 2024, to December 27, 2024. Remarks will be published on Urner Barry’s market reporting methodology
page at www.expanamarkets.com/our-methodology.
