Expana proposes to change the monthly assessment schedule for some of its Plant-Based Protein EBP

Expana proposes to change the assessment schedule for some of its US-based Plant-Based Protein Expana Benchmark Prices (EBP) from Friday, March 28th, 2025, onwards. The proposal is suggested to align assessments with the time-zones they operate in. This would impact assessment times as well as assessment days.
Expana is collecting feedback on this proposal until Friday, February 14th, 2025.
The proposed changes would see:
- The monthly US-based Plant-Based Protein EBP assess on the last business day of every month at 16:00 US Eastern Time, from currently 16:00 UK time.
The proposed change would bring the assessment schedule in line with the region they are assessed in. Full details of our methodology, including the public holidays observed in the Americas, can be found in the Expana Assessment Methodology Guide available here.

Expana is soliciting feedback on this proposal until Friday, February 14th, 2025, and is proposing for this methodology change to come into effect on Friday, March 28th, 2025, if supported by the industry.
