Expana proposes to launch additional Expana Benchmark Prices for key European dairy products

Expana is proposing to launch 5 monthly Expana Benchmark Prices (EBP) for European dairy products and is collecting feedback from dairy market participants until Friday, 27th September 2024. 

If the industry supports this proposal, Expana suggests launching the monthly assessments on Thursday, 31st October 2024. 
 
The proposed specifications for these assessments would be as below: 

The proposed assessments would reflect the transactable value at 16:00:00 London time. 
 
The European Union is the largest producer of dairy products globally and a key exporter. The proposed assessments would complement Expana’s existing dairy coverage in the region providing Expana subscribers with additional granularity for key dairy products from major producing countries.
