Boxed beef spot negotiated trade window change notice

Expana is a leading source for price reporting in the US boxed beef sector and regularly solicits feedback from
stakeholders to ensure that our coverage reflects current trading conditions and practices. On December 10, 2024, Expana proposed changes to its US Boxed Beef market coverage and sought industry feedback on those proposed changes. The comment period has now closed. To improve market transparency and provide stakeholders with meaningful information, Expana will make the following improvements to its US Boxed Beef market coverage effective January 1, 2025.

• Spot Negotiated Trade Window 0-21 Days

This latest change further expands Expana’s initiative to provide market transparency in the US Boxed Beef market. The
US Boxed Beef methodology document posted at www.expanamarkets.com/our-methodology will be amended to reflect
these changes, which will go into effect on January 1, 2025.
