Expana seeks stakeholder feedback on proposed coverage of the US Chicken Tender Market

In keeping with our commitment to provide the most meaningful and transparent market information to stakeholders, Expana proposes the following changes: 

Proposed effective date: On January 2, 2025, Expana will be refining the description of the Breast Tenders, 2 oz. & Down quotation.

From: “Breast Tenders, 2 oz. & Down”  
To: “Medium Tenders”

This latest enhancement better captures spot market activity by broadening the quotation to reflect the full range of tender sizes and production types most commonly produced and traded. With live weights trending heavier across the industry, this adjustment ensures that the quotation remains representative of current production and trading dynamics.

The methodology document posted at www.expanamarkets.com/our-methodology will be amended to reflect these changes, which is proposed to go into effect on January 2, 2026.
