Evening Schedule

The next decade will redefine what procurement means. The real question is: who holds the pen?

Procurement is already being reshaped by AI, supply chain disruption, climate volatility and changing business expectations. The function leaders are building today will not be the one they lead tomorrow.

This session explores what happens when women are not only part of procurement’s future but actively help shape its direction from the start. It is a conversation about leadership, influence and the opportunity to build a stronger, more resilient and inclusive procurement function for the next generation.

Discussion points

• Redesigning procurement for 2036: If we were building the function from the ground up, what would we do differently?

• Preparing for new expectations: As AI takes on more transactional work, how will procurement’s roles, skills and ways of working need to change?

• From representation to influence: How can women help shape the decisions that define procurement’s strategy, innovation and value creation?

• Opening doors for the next generation: How can today’s leaders create meaningful opportunities through sponsorship, mentorship and visible role models?

• Leading through disruption: As AI, volatility and complexity reshape procurement, which leadership principles must remain at its heart?
