The assessments complement Expana’s existing EU chicken coverage providing additional insight and granularity into the fresh and frozen chicken cuts market.

Poland is the largest chicken producer in the EU, accounting for approximately 22% of the EU’s total chicken production. Frozen chicken cuts such as breast fillets, drumsticks and leg quarters from Poland are heavily utilised in the retail and food service sectors across the UK and EU. The assessments provide a set of reliable benchmarks in what is traditionally an opaque market.
