Andrei is a Quantitative Analyst at Expana, a role he has held since January 2024 following Mintec’s acquisition of Urner Barry. He joined Urner Barry’s Consulting team as an Economist in 2021, where he focused on protein commodity markets, before moving into his current position as the two companies combined.
In addition to his work at Expana, Andrei is an adjunct professor of Economics at Monmouth University. Earlier in his career, he held a range of analyst roles in financial services, including positions at Elara Capital and Tribal Capital Markets. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Merrimack College, a Master of Science in Applied Economics, and a Certificate in Data Analytics from Boston College.
Andrei has presented at industry events such as the Global Protein Summit and Seafood Expo North America, and his commentary has appeared across television, print, and other news outlets.
