Food commodity intelligence provider commits to the Ten Principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption
[LONDON], 15 October 2026 – Expana, the agrifood commodity intelligence platform built on independent price reporting, today announced that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact, a voluntary initiative for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices.
As a participant, Expana commits to aligning its strategies and operations with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 20,000 companies based in over 160 countries, and more than 60 Global Compact Networks.
Expana’s vision is a world where transparent commodity markets sustain the global food supply. Every day, buyers, sellers and analysts across the agrifood supply chain use its independent benchmark prices, market news and analysis to make better-informed decisions. Joining the UN Global Compact extends the same standards of rigour and openness to how Expana runs its own business.
“We believe that when businesses use trusted data to make better decisions, the food system improves. Joining the United Nations Global Compact is a public commitment to bring that same transparency to how we run our own business, and we look forward to reporting on our progress,” said Julie Harris, Chief Executive Officer of Expana.
As a participant, Expana will submit an annual Communication on Progress to the UN Global Compact. Its reports and activities will be available on Expana’s participant profile.
