Expana to Implement Methodology Changes to the US By-Products Report: Removal of Selected Assessments

September 11, 2026

Following a period of market feedback, Expana will implement methodology changes to its US By-Products Expana Benchmark Prices (EBPs), including the discontinuation of 21 selected assessments as part of its ongoing review to ensure its price reporting activities accurately reflect current market activity, pricing methods, and market prices. Expana will implement these changes to the daily assessments on December 15, 2026.

The initial proposal was announced in a market note published on August 24, 2026, which can be viewed here: https://www.expanamarkets.com/our-methodology/market-announcements/expana-proposes-methodology-changes-to-the-us-by-products-report-removal-of-selected-assessments/
