The proposed assessments would reflect market and transactional data collected during the reporting period.

Brazilian rib fingers have become more consistently referenced in China-facing negotiations, reflecting the cut’s growing relevance among key traded items on this route. As a higher-value-added product, the assessment provides market participants with a reliable benchmark to price this cut and a transparent reference point for trade. Given the continued growth of Brazilian beef exports to China and the increasing prominence of rib fingers within that trade flow, the assessment provides meaningful coverage of a cut that has established consistent commercial traction on this route.

In addition, given the unusual market conditions in Brazilian beef exports to China, a significant portion of the pricing being discussed is targeting arrivals with notably longer transit times, leaving much of the available data outside our current assessment timeframe. To better capture these forward indications, Expana decided to launch a new 61–120 day delivery period to the table.
