Expana to Implement Methodology Changes to the US Beef Variety Report: Elimination of LTL Quotes and Reduced Minimum Volume Requirements

Following a period of market feedback, Expana will implement methodology changes to its US Beef Variety Expana Benchmark Prices (EBPs), including the discontinuation of 24 less-than-truckload (LTL) US Beef Variety EBPs, eliminating 96 AM US Beef Variety EBPs, and the introduction of reduced minimum volume requirements. Expana will implement these changes to the daily US Beef Variety assessments in Q4 2026.
