Women in Food and Agriculture
We support Women in Food and Agriculture (WiFA) and the important role it plays in championing diversity, inclusion, and progress across the sector. Through this support, we are proud to contribute to greater visibility, opportunity, and recognition for women across food and agriculture.
As part of this commitment, we also support mentoring initiatives that help encourage connection, development, and career progression across the industry. 1,534 individuals have participated in the mentoring so far. By helping create opportunities for learning, guidance, and shared experience, we aim to play a positive role in supporting the next generation of talent in food and agriculture.
Employee Fundraising and Volunteering
We encourage colleagues to get involved in causes they care about and to contribute to their communities in meaningful ways. To support this, Expana provides two days of volunteer leave each year, giving colleagues dedicated time to volunteer and make a positive impact.

FoodCycle Charity Partnership
We are proud to support FoodCycle, a charity that brings people together over shared meals to tackle food poverty, food waste, and social isolation.
FoodCycle’s work creates welcoming spaces where people can connect, access nutritious food, and feel part of a community. This partnership reflects our commitment to supporting practical action that delivers both social and environmental value.
UNICEF
We also support UNICEF, a global organisation working to protect the rights and wellbeing of children around the world.
UNICEF’s work spans healthcare, nutrition, education, clean water, emergency relief, and child protection. Through this support, Expana contributes to initiatives that help create lasting positive impact for children and families globally.
Turing Trust
We are proud to partner with the Turing Trust, a charity that refurbishes donated computers and provides them to schools and communities in Malawi, Kenya and Ghana, helping to close the digital divide. Through this partnership, Expana donates its decommissioned IT equipment, giving our technology a second life while improving access to education. To date, thanks to our donations 1,782 students will be able to learn vital IT skills. Beyond this the environmental impact from our donation offset 28 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, which is the equivalent of planting 69 trees, or offsetting the annual carbon footprint of 3 Britons. The embodied energy savings created are also enough to power 7 UK homes for an entire year.
